At the same time, many pet parents today are asking important questions about:

What Is Titer Testing?

Titer testing measures antibodies in the bloodstream to determine whether an animal still has measurable immune memory against certain diseases.

A positive titer generally indicates that the immune system has previously responded to vaccination or natural exposure and still recognizes the pathogen.

Titer testing is commonly used for:

• canine parvovirus
• feline panleukopenia

Many integrative veterinarians use titers to help reduce unnecessary repeat vaccinations in adult animals that already demonstrate protective immunity. However, it is important to understand:
