Meet Nikki!

My passion for pet nutrition comes from a simple belief: our animals deserve to live long, vibrant, comfortable lives not just survive on convenience diets.

Over the years, I began noticing a pattern. More and more pets were developing chronic issues. Things like allergies, digestive disorders, inflammation, liver problems, and metabolic disease are appearing at younger ages than ever before. Pet parents were doing everything they thought was right, yet their animals were still struggling. After noticing this pattern I chose to focus on clinical pet nutrition and the powerful role that food plays in both preventing and managing disease. I wanted to help pet owners who struggle to find the ‘right’ thing to do for their animals.
Today, my work centers on helping pet owners move beyond the one size-fits-all feeding approach. I take an individualized, evidence-based approach that looks at the whole animal. This includes their health history, lifestyle, lab work, symptoms, and unique biological needs. I believe nutrition should do more than meet basic requirements. It should actively support the body’s ability to heal, reduce inflammation, and promote long-term resilience.
What drives me most is seeing the transformation that happens when the right nutrition strategy is put in place. I love to see pets regain energy, chronic symptoms reverse, and families feel empowered with knowledge and confidence.

Certified Clinical Pet Nutritionist

I’m a Certified Clinical Pet Nutritionist (CPN) through the Academy of Natural Health Sciences in New Jersey. Their Clinical Pet Nutritionist program is a 2-year, in-depth diploma course (roughly 1,200+ hours) that includes:

  • Advanced canine & feline anatomy and physiology
  • Nutrient metabolism and biochemistry
  • Reviewing lab results
  • Clinical assessment of pets (body condition scoring, lab interpretation, etc.)
  • Formulating balanced raw, cooked, and commercial diets
  • Managing disease-specific nutrition (kidney, liver, allergies, IBD, cancer, seizures, etc.)
  • Hundreds of case studies and real-world diet planning

This one of the most comprehensive programs available in North America and is specifically designed for people who want to work one-on-one with pets and their vets (not just sell pet food). After graduation I complete continuing education each year to stay current on the latest research.

Meet the Pack!

Here are my dogs (plus an honorable mention). Check out our little family! Finding the balance between good ingredients, budget, and health requirements isn’t always easy but it is worth it! I love my pack.

Ivy

Meet Ivy

Ivy is our 6-year-old Doberman. When I met my boyfriend (her primary owner) she previously struggled with hypothyroidism, chronic GI issues, skin problems, chronic yeast infections and significant weight gain that impacted her overall health and comfort.

Through targeted nutrition, lifestyle changes, and a more supportive approach to wellness, Ivy’s transformation has been incredible. Her hormones are now balanced, she has lost over 30 pounds, her digestive issues have resolved, and her coat is now healthy and glowing.

Today, Ivy thrives on a gently cooked, moisture-rich diet tailored to support her individual needs. Her journey continues to remind me how powerful thoughtful nutrition can be in improving a pet’s quality of life, vitality, and long-term health.

Arrow

Meet Arrow

Arrow is my Belgian Malinois and a great example of how nutrition can be adapted to support an active, high-drive lifestyle. He thrives on a hybrid diet that combines high-quality kibble with fresh gently cooked and raw foods to provide nutritional variety, added moisture, and whole-food support.

His feeding approach reflects my belief that nutrition does not have to be all-or-nothing to make a meaningful difference. By thoughtfully improving the bowl with fresh, nutrient-dense foods, we can better support energy, digestion, recovery, and long-term wellness in active dogs like Arrow.

Theo

Theo is my Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy and the youngest member of the pack. He is currently being raised on a complete and balanced raw diet designed to support healthy growth, strong development, and long-term wellness during this important stage of life.

Theo’s nutrition focuses on providing fresh, species-appropriate foods rich in natural nutrients, moisture, and variety to help support healthy digestion, muscle development, immune function, and steady energy levels as he grows. His journey is a reminder of how foundational nutrition can be from the very beginning of a dog’s life.

Koda Bear

In Loving Memory of Koda

Koda was more than just a dog he was a deeply loved member of my family and a soul who left a lasting imprint on my heart. His presence brought comfort, loyalty, joy, and unconditional love in a way only dogs can.

Much of my passion for animal health and nutrition was shaped through the experiences I shared with him. Koda taught me to pay closer attention, to ask deeper questions, and to never underestimate the impact that health, comfort, and quality of life have on the animals we love so deeply.

Though he is no longer physically by my side, his influence continues to guide the work I do every day. Every pet I help is, in many ways, part of the legacy he left behind.

Koda will always be remembered with immense love, gratitude, and a bond that time could never diminish.

How We Nourish Your Pet

Together, we review history, lab work, and current diet, then build a clear, step-by-step plan focused on realistic changes, transparent ingredients, and the option of ongoing support so you never feel alone in your pet’s health journey.

A tidy veterinary-style consultation setup on a light wooden desk: an open laptop displaying a simplified pet body condition chart, a digital kitchen scale with a portioned serving of pet food on a small white plate, and a printed personalized nutrition plan with checkboxes and icons for dogs and cats. An elegant glass water bowl sits nearby, catching subtle reflections. The background is a softly blurred, bright home office with neutral walls and a single green plant for a touch of life. Gentle, indirect daylight from the side casts soft shadows and a professional, reassuring glow. Shot from a slightly elevated angle with photographic realism and crisp detail, the composition feels organized, trustworthy, and focused on tailored pet nutrition guidance without any human presence.
